Methodology

Diagnose. Design. Deploy.

A three-phase framework that eliminates guesswork, prevents rework, and ensures every system we build is one your team can actually run.

Phase 01Diagnose

Know exactly where performance is leaking — before we build anything.

Every engagement begins with a structured diagnostic. We map your current financial and operational state, identify the highest-impact gaps, and quantify the cost of inaction. No assumptions. No generic recommendations.

2–3 weeks
fin4growth, LLC lead + your finance and operations leads

Key Activities

  • Financial statement and cash flow analysis
  • Process mapping across core operational workflows
  • Systems and tools audit (what you have, how it's used)
  • KPI and reporting structure review
  • Stakeholder interviews (finance, ops, leadership)
  • Gap identification and prioritization matrix

The diagnostic is scoped and priced independently. You receive a full report regardless of whether you proceed.

What You Receive

  • Diagnostic report with ranked gap analysis
  • Quantified cost-of-inaction for each gap
  • Recommended solution scope and sequencing
  • Engagement proposal with fixed-scope pricing
Phase 02Design

Build the architecture before writing a single line of code or process.

Once gaps are confirmed, we design the systems that will close them. This means workflow architecture, model structure, dashboard logic, and automation blueprints — all documented and validated with your team before implementation begins.

2–4 weeks
fin4growth, LLC team + your operational and finance stakeholders

Key Activities

  • Future-state workflow design and documentation
  • Financial model architecture and logic mapping
  • Dashboard KPI selection and layout design
  • Automation blueprint and tool selection
  • Integration mapping (data sources, systems, handoffs)
  • Stakeholder review and sign-off sessions

Nothing is built until the design is validated. This eliminates rework and ensures your team is aligned before execution.

What You Receive

  • Future-state process maps and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) (draft)
  • Financial model architecture document
  • Dashboard wireframes and KPI hierarchy
  • Automation blueprint with tool recommendations
  • Implementation plan with milestones and owners
Phase 03Deploy

Develop, test, hand off — and make sure it actually runs.

Implementation is structured in sprints with clear milestones. We build, test with live data, train your team, and document everything. The goal is a system your team owns and operates — not one that requires us to maintain it.

4–12 weeks (scope-dependent)
fin4growth, LLC implementation team + your day-to-day operators

Key Activities

  • System and model build (sprints with weekly check-ins)
  • Live data integration and testing
  • User acceptance testing with your team
  • Training sessions and documentation handoff
  • Go-live support and stabilization period
  • Post-deployment performance review

Every deployment includes a 30-day stabilization period. We stay engaged until the system is running reliably.

What You Receive

  • Fully operational systems (models, dashboards, workflows)
  • Complete Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation
  • Training materials and recorded walkthroughs
  • Performance baseline and 30-day review report
  • Ongoing support options (if applicable)
How We Work

Four principles that govern every engagement.

Documented at every stage

Every process, model, and system we build is fully documented. Your team can operate and modify it without us.

Built with your team, not around them

We work alongside your finance and operations leads — not in isolation. Knowledge transfer is built into every phase.

Fixed scope, fixed price

Every engagement is scoped and priced before work begins. No hourly billing, no scope creep surprises.

Outcomes are benchmarked

We establish a performance baseline at the start and measure against it at 30, 60, and 90 days post-deployment.

Typical Timeline

From diagnostic to live system in 12–18 weeks.

Week 1–2
Diagnostic kickoff, data collection, stakeholder interviews
Week 3
Diagnostic report delivery and engagement scoping
Week 4–6
Design phase — architecture, blueprints, stakeholder review
Week 7–14
Deploy phase — build sprints, testing, training
Week 15–18
Go-live, stabilization, 30-day performance review
